They did not see one another, nor did anyone rise from his place for three days, but all the people of Israel had light where they lived.

Why didn't the Hebrews leave immediately after the three days of darkness while Egypt was weak? God didn't tell them to leave then because he wasn't through with Pharaoh yet. It was only right before the tenth plague that God told the Hebrews to prepare to leave. Judgment doesn't end until judgment is complete.

That's a good point Jay... of course with all the preping, bugout and movements to abandon the ways of the evil world. Many are wondering where do I go to be safe. Is the answer "somewhere else". Is the answer stay in your place? This may be wisdom. As a sailor (nope not a NAVY man... spare me the brawl : ) Even when your ship capsizes you stay with the floating hull. Another point of wisdom... Our enemy is like a prowling lion... If you watch the way lions hunt: they watch a flock and when one moves out of line (usually the weak one) that is the one that gets eaten.
