WHY DO WE PRAISE YHVH?
1 Chronicles 16:25-26: Great is Adonai! He is most worthy of praise! He is to be revered above all gods. -- The gods of other nations are merely idols, but Elohim made the heavens!
Psalm 92:1: It is good to give thanks to Elohim, to sing praises to the Most High. Psalm 89:5: All heaven will praise Your miracles Adonai; myriads of angels will praise You for Your faithfulness. Luke 19:36-37: Then the crowds spread out their coats on the road ahead of Yeshua. As they reached the place where the road started down from the Mount of Olives, all of His followers began to shout and sing as they walked along, praising Elohim for all the wonderful miracles they had seen. Acts 16:22-25: A mob quickly formed against Paul and Silas and the city officials ordered them stripped and beaten with wooden rods. They were severely beaten and then they were thrown into prison. …Around midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to YHVH and the other prisoners were listening. Psalm 106:2: Who can list the glorious miracles of Elohim? Who can ever praise Him half enough? -- Consider how great YHVH is -- the awesome Creator of the Universe. Then consider how sinful and mortal we are. Then consider how great is YHVH’s Love for us. How can we help but praise Him?
Ephesians 1:6-12: We praise YHVH for the wonderful kindness He has poured out on us because we belong to His dearly loved Son. -- For providing His gracious salvation, YHVH deserves our praise.
Psalm 103:1-22: Praise Elohim … He forgives all my sins … He ransoms me from death. -- We praise YHVH for His forgiveness, healing and salvation.
Psalm 145:1-21; 146:1-10: Great is Adonai! He is most worthy of praise! -- We praise YHVH for His eternal and unchanging qualities.
Luke 19:40: If they kept quiet, the stones along the road would burst into cheers! -- If we don’t lift our voices in praise of Yeshua as our Adonai and King the very rocks and stones will cry out!

HOW CAN I EXPRESS MY PRAISE TO YHVH?
Psalm 35:10: I will praise Him from the bottom of my heart. Psalm 86:12: With all my heart I will praise You, O Adonai my Elohim. I will give glory to Your Name forever. -- Express praise to YHVH with all your heart.
1 Chronicles 23:30: Each morning and evening they stood before Adonai to sing songs of thanks and praise to Him. Psalm 104:33: I will sing to Elohim as long as I live. I will praise YHVH to my last breath! -- Express praise to YHVH with all your time.
Romans 15:6: Then all of you can join together with one voice, giving praise and glory to Elohim, the Father of our Adonai Yeshua Moshiach. -- Express praise to God with others.
Psalm 34:1: I will praise Elohim at all times. I will constantly speak His praises. 2 Chronicles 20:19: Then the Levites from the clans of Kohath and Korah stood to praise YHVH, Elohim of Israel, with a very loud shout. -- Express praise to YHVH with your mouth.
Psalm 149:1: Praise YHVH! Sing to Elohim a new song. Sing His praises in the assembly of the faithful. Psalm 47:6: Sing praise to YHVH, sing praises; sing praise to our King, sing praises! Psalm 33:3: Sing new songs of praise to Him; play skilfully on the harp and sing with joy. Psalm 47:7: YHVH is the King over all the earth. Praise Him with a psalm! Psalm 150:3-5: Praise Him with a blast of the trumpet; praise Him with the lyre and harp! Praise Him with the tambourine and dancing; praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes! Praise Him with a clash of cymbals; praise Him with loud clanging cymbals. 1 Chronicles 16:42: They used their trumpets, cymbals and other instruments to accompany the songs of praise to YHVH. And the sons of Jeduthun were appointed as gatekeepers. -- Express praise to YHVH with music.
Psalm 54:6: I will sacrifice a voluntary offering to you; I will praise Your Name, O Adonai, for it is good. -- Express praise to YHVH with an offering.
Psalm 149:1-9; 150:1-6: Let everything that lives sing praises to Elohim! -- The people of YHVH are exhorted to praise Him with singing, music and great joy.
Hebrews 13:15: Let us continually offer our sacrifice of praise to YHVH by proclaiming the glory of His Name. -- When we tell others of Moshiach’s Name we are offering Him a sacrifice of praise.
Amos 5:21-24: I hate all your show and pretence … Away with your hymns of praise! … Instead, I want to see a mighty flood of justice. -- Our praise must be sincere and not hypocritical.

FOR WHAT SHOULD I PRAISE YHVH?
Ephesians 1:3, 6, 12: How we praise YHVH, the Father of our Adonai Yeshua Moshiach, Who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we belong to Moshiach. So we praise YHVH for the wonderful kindness He has poured out on us because we belong to His dearly loved Son. Revelation 1:4-5: Grace and peace from the One Who is, Who always was and Who is still to come … and from Yeshua Moshiach, Who is the faithful witness to these things, the first to rise from the dead and the Commander of all the rulers of the world. All praise to Him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by shedding His blood for us. -- Praise YHVH for Yeshua.
Exodus 15:2: Elohim is my Strength and my Song; He has become my Victory. He is my YHVH and I will praise Him; He is my father’s YHVH and I will exalt Him! -- Praise God for being God.
2 Chronicles 20:21: After consulting the leaders of the people, the king appointed singers to walk ahead of the army, singing to Elohim and praising Him for His Holy splendour. This is what they sang: Give thanks to Elohim; His faithful love endures forever! Psalm 68:35: YHVH is awesome in His sanctuary. -- The Most High YHVH of Israel gives power and strength to His people. Praise be to YHVH! -- Praise Elohim for His Holy splendour and awesomeness.
Psalm 31:21: Praise Elohim, for He has shown me his unfailing Love. He kept me safe when my city was under attack. Psalm 59:17: O my Strength, to You I sing praises, for You, O Elohim, are my Refuge, YHVH Who shows me unfailing Love. Psalm 106:1: Praise Elohim! Give thanks to YHVH, for He is good! His faithful Love endures forever. -- Praise YHVH for his unfailing Love.
Psalm 28:6: Praise Elohim! For He has heard my cry for mercy. 2 Corinthians 1:3: All praise to Elohim and Father of our Adonai Yeshua Moshiach. He is the source of every mercy and YHVH Who comforts us. -- Praise YHVH for His mercy.
Daniel 2:20: Praise the Name of YHVH forever and ever, for He alone has all wisdom and power. -- Praise YHVH for His Wisdom.
Genesis 24:48: Then I bowed my head and worshiped Elohim. I praised Elohim, YHVH of my master Abraham, because He had led me along the right path to find a wife from the family of my master’s relatives. -- Praise YHVH for His guidance.
Psalm 56:10: O Elohim, I praise Your Word. Yes Adonai, I praise Your Word. -- Praise YHVH for His Word.
Psalm 107:8: Let them praise Elohim for His great Love and for all His wonderful deeds to them. Isaiah 25:1: O Adonai, I will honour and praise Your Name, for You are YHVH. You do such wonderful things! You planned them long ago and now you have accomplished them. -- Praise YHVH for the things He has done.

WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF PRAISING OTHERS?
Proverbs 27:2: Don’t praise yourself; let others do it! Proverbs 31:28: Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her: Proverbs 31:31: Reward her for all she has done. Let her deeds publicly declare her praise. Matthew 25:21: The master was full of praise. Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together! Matthew 3:16-17: After His baptism, as Yeshua came up out of the water, the heavens were opened and He saw the Ruach of YHVH descending like a dove and settling on Him. And a voice from heaven said, This is my beloved Son and I am fully pleased with him. -- We each need to know that others are for us and with us. Affirmation gives us a sense of worth, encouraging us to go on.
