This idea came from a discussion at Bible Study this last Sabbath. It was mentioned how the church claims to be children of Abraham. However, just like the Jews/Pharisees in the Gospels, there is something missing. John 8:39 Yeshua tells the Pharisees that "If you were children of Abraham, you would do the works of Abraham." What are those works Abraham did? See the comic and the verse. As I have pointed out in several comics before, the Torah was present long before Mt. Sinai.
