Shalom, everyone! Please introduce yourselves! We'd love to see this group become a resource for all families in Kol Israel, as the Father begins to multiply us more than our fathers (Deuteronomy 30:5). ;-)

I live in Michigan and have 7 children. I've been a childbirth educator since 1998. I have a daughter praying about becoming a midwife.

I am joining on behalf of my daughter who is planning to become a midwife. She is currently finishing up her first year of college studying nursing, but will be transferring to a midwifery program next year. Once things settle down for her I will have her join TN and this group!

I live in SW Ohio, currently (looking to move w/in the year, if Yah wills it). I have 7 children, but only 2 that I have the blessing to raise (we lost 5 to miscarriage prior to them). I have been a childbirth educator since 2012 and do classes upon request only. I originally wanted to go into midwifery but had to step away from that, due to PTSD from my own traumatic birth experience. Until I feel totally 'healed' from this, I will stick with the education side of things. I desire to help as many women as I can trust the body Yah made them, to birth their babies w/out fear and in the safety and love they need. I am into natural birth primarily and even unassisted (which I believe is the ultimate in taking total self-responsibility for your birth)- birthing with or w/out an attendant is a deeply personal choice but I support both and wish to prep women for both. I'm currently feeling led back into this field more than I've been in the past ten years and desire to make an onlined , torah-based, education course for expecting mothers AND fathers. I do believe courses for fathers are just missing for the most part. This leaves fathers, many times, scared in what to expect, how to assist their wives, etc. I want to help prepare them as well. Ok...now that I've rambled a while. lol
