Shalom dear people, just a short report from emergency shelter location El Shaddaj. This morning at 5 o'clock we left with the first group to the airport. Then drove to another emergency shelter to pick up people who had to go to the embassy, read the previous report. We drove all day long to pick up and drop off people.
Nice conversations sometimes arise during the rides, such as with Andrej, he is a Ukrainian who is married to an Israeli woman. Andrej is a volunteer at the organization we work with. Andrej has vowed to stay here until all Israelis return to Israel. And he himself wants to go to Eretz Yisrael with the last batch.
Or the conversation with thirteen-year-old David, an orthodox Israeli boy. This boy fled Odessa with his mother. He told me how afraid he was of the war and that he had to leave his older brother behind, who was not allowed to come because he had to join the fight. Heartbreaking.
I just received an encouraging message from Jack van der Tang and I want to close with that tonight because the alarm clock will go off again at four o'clock. But we are happy to get back to work because today 166 Israelis again got on the plane to Israel.
And you all contributed to that in your own way, by praying and fasting or by contributing financially or both. Another by driving the bus and another by coordinating etc. etc. For soon laila tov and above all keep on praying and contributing to this Divine project.
