Leviticus 11:20

"Go on all fours" is an idiom meaning "walks on more than two legs". It doesn't literally mean four, and only four, legs.

Something that I feel like I'm beginning to understand a little better is the "eyes to see and ears to hear" thing. There are so many parts of scripture that you could have tried to walk me through in the past that would never have made sense to me no matter how you explained it. Now certain issues of theological debate make me wonder how a debate on such an issue ever began in the first place.
