Re: The MOSAIC Law vs. The Law of GOD, True or False: Moses received two sets of Law. The first was written by the finger of God on stone tablets and was placed inside the arc of the covenant under the mercy seat. The SECOND was written by the hand of Moses on parchment and was placed on the side of the Arc. Ref. Deut 31:24-26 and Exodus 40:20 Joshua Myers Jay Carper

The same Law was given to Moses twice. Ex 20 & 34. Both were written on stone tablets. It wasn't different sets of Laws, but the same Law.
Then in Deut 31:24-26 Moses wrote the Law from memory so that it could be stored with the ark. It wasn't a new set of laws as Father didn't recite the Law for Moses to write it down again, unless if I have misread the passage.
If you asked the question "Moses received two copies of the Law" then I would have answered "True"; but I would still have to exclude Deut 31...

s law. This is true because we can verify that the other laws given Moses (Not what God refers to as 'His Law" - The decalog written by Him on stone tablets) but the other sets concerning things like the Laws of Burnt Offerings, Sin Offerings, Motherhood, Leper Cleansing, Atonement
, Holidays, Nazarite, Offerings, Vows, War - None of these were written on the tablets, HOWEVER all were given to Moses directly by God. So, do the pieces move? Yes they do... allow me to show you. Lets look at the Book Moses wrote. In Deut 31:26 - “Take this Book of the Law and place it beside the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, so that it may remain there as a witness against you. < Pay particular attention to the last phrase. It is indicating that the Book of Moses was " a witness AGAINST them". Now look at Colossians 2:14: Blotting out the HANDWRITING of ordinances that was AGAINST us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross" This same book HANDWRITTEN by Moses also stated to be "AGAINST" in Deuteronomy is clearly identified in Colossians.
