I call upon you, therefore, brothers, through the compassion of Elohim, to present your bodies a living offering – set-apart, well-pleasing to Elohim – your reasonable worship.

Self sovereignty is one of the biggest problems in the body... Sha'ul was writing to covenanted Israelites... That is what Romans 7-11 was all about, becoming covenanted Israel!!
