One of the mis—appropriate traditions that too many Christians believe is that the last supper was a seder meal. Historically this is impossible on many levels but the biggest reason is that the seder did not begin until after the destruction of the second Temple, 30 years AFTER the crucifixion. The blessings recorded the gospels at the last supper using the bread and wine originated when the righteous king fist spoke them in front of Abraham. The last supper actually happened the evening before the Passover meal was eaten. John 18;28,”Then they led Jesus from Caiaphas’ house to the Roman governor’s palace. It was early in the morning. The Jews would not go inside the palace. They did not want to make themselves unclean, because they wanted to eat the Passover meal.” Had the Passover been eaten the previous night, this verse would make no sense. There are traditions and legends that prevent us from understanding the events that are recorded in the Bible. Don’t be deceived, question the traditions and legends.
