Seor is leaven, specifically the yeast starter used to leaven bread dough before cooking. Leavening, in this context, refers to the fermentation process of live yeast in bread dough. Some people remove all leavening agents (yeast and chemical) and their by-products from their home, while others remove only yeast-leavened bread and any starter dough. My personal interpretation is somewhere in the middle: I remove all non-distilled, yeast-fermented grain products. If you're going to keep the Feast, then you need to read the Scriptures for yourself and make your own decisions.
