What scriptures would reinforce that HaShem will send his son, moreover people would have to believe in him from within the OT?
Ref Verse:
Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. ~ John 3: 18

The end of Daniel 9 shows Yeshua to be the Messiah because of the destruction of the temple - all the false messiah's were claiming to push Rome out, He was the only one to repeat Daniel's prophecy that the destruction of Judea was tied to the first coming of the Messiah.
Jon 3:18 is a vague reference to Psalm 2: 11&12 (again, ignore the verse numbers).

"In the beginning was The Word..." which leads me to Genesis chapter 1. The same Elohim who is the Word is also the one who created Creation. Yeshua did not show up much later in the timeline, He was there before the beginning of the timeline.
The Word is Yeshua, Yeshua is the Word, the whole Word, every word of the Word is Yeshua. If you have not believed in "every word that proceeds from the mouth of God" (Matthew 4 {Yeshua is the Word that came from the mouth of the Father who spoke it to His people in the "OT"}) then you shall not live.
I realize that this may sound like a roundabout, empty answer and I apologize if it lands that way, but my real life only began when I realized that there is no separation between the Torah and the Messiah. Matthew 5 says "...one yod or one tittle will by no means pass until all be done. If we even exist, all is not done (time is still going, things are still happening) and every part of the Word is still purposed for the belief of the believer.
