A Bible study leader, yesterday, made mention of utilizing a translation she doesn't prefer because of easier language. This led me wondering if people simply don't know of the Institute for Scripture Research and The Scriptures translation.

I got myself an ISR Scriptures translation back at the beginning of this year; it has been a gift to me every time I open it. I'm actually in the process of learning Hebrew right now so I can study the Word even more closely, but The Scriptures translation is a great help in the meantime!

The Scriptures was the first bible that I read cover to cover. Even though I have read others now, it is still my go-to bible. I love the traditional Hebrew names.

I use the 2009 Scriptures for years, also Besorah Natzarim Version (BNV) & Eth Cepher.
