Our identity does not come from the way we feel about ourselves. Who we are is assigned to us at conception, any alteration of that is by the influence of an unholy spirit. Our Creator spoke to the prophet in Jeremiah 1;5, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Not everyone is assigned to be a prophet, some are doctors, some teachers, some farmers or a myriad of other things necessary to benefit each other. For an individual to assume an identity contrary to what the Creator designed them to bet they are rejecting His authority in their lives and they are forcing an unholy spirit upon the people around them. Believers should understand that condoning a person who claims to identify as anything other than what they are is not loving that person, it is hating them. We are to correct other believers when they reject the Creator. Psalm 141;5, “Let the righteous man strike me; let his rebuke be an act of loving devotion. It is oil for my head; let me not refuse it. For my prayer is ever against the deeds of the wicked.”
