Obedience to any list of rules in an attempt to earn eternal salvation or forgiveness of sins is legalism.

Obedience to God is not legalism.

I think the key here is the word "earn" and that is where many people get stuck and do not want to follow Father's commandments.

We follow the Law because we are saved and not to become saved.
