What's your 'Homeschool Testimony'? How long have you been at this? What's your homeschool style? Where are you in your journey?

My siblings and I were homeschooled myself (K-12), my children were/are/will be homeschooled.
We have a rather eclectic style, year-round, Charlotte Mason-ish, but I mish-mash whatever works for our life.

We have been homeschooling for 8 years. We started in Delaware, spent 3 years in New York and now have been in New Jersey for a little over 4 years. We are a mix of unschool, eclectic life-learners with a touch of rigid curriculum, as I require some sort of daily educational material. Some days it's workbooks (especially to encourage writing and working with a parent), other days it's educational kindle apps and educational videos. Every day includes lots of outside time and active play! We are definitely year-round as well and I couldn't imagine 'taking the summer off', since we live learning. What in the world would we do if we weren't living?
