Those of us who observe the Torah already know that when we follow Yah's Laws/Commandments, we are abundantly blessed! But do we consider just how beneficial His laws are for our enjoyment and overall wellness?

Between the books:
"Treasures of Healthy Living Bible Study" by Annette Reeder, and
"What the Bible Says about Healthy Living" by Rex Russell,
I've learned 3 Principles for Biblical Health/Nutrition:

✨1️⃣✨
Eat Only Substances God Created For Food. [Avoid What Is Not Designed For Food.]

➡️ Eat of every green plant yielding seed, and every tree with fruit yielding seed. [Genesis 1:29-30]
➡️ Eat plants of the field (which were labored for): think fruits, vegetables, nuts, legumes, grain, etc. that can be grown in a field or on a farm. [Genesis 3]
➡️ Eat clean meats and avoid unclean meats [Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14]


✨2️⃣✨
As Much As Possible, Eat Food As They Were Created, With Very Little Alteration.

➡️ Eat vegetables raw, steamed, or lightly cooked.
➡️ Eat bread that you made yourself by self-milling the flour from whole-wheat berries (or choose bread that says "stone ground" on the label).
➡️ Consume raw, unpasteurized milk/cheese/butter
➡️ Eat fresh fruit instead of fruit-flavored processed foods, etc...


✨3️⃣ ✨
Avoid Addictions: Don't Let Any Food or Drink Become Your God.

➡️ Foods like chocolate, sugar, dairy, alcohol, caffeine, possibly even salt, can have addictive qualities. Even good foods can become an addiction.
➡️ When food consumes our thoughts and actions, the best way to gain control is to fast. Fasting is a very effective way of freeing ourselves from a preoccupation with our physical wants and desires so that we can concentrate on our relationship with God.

Consider cutting back on man-altered, processed foods and begin replacing them with the foods YHVH created us to eat in the FORM He created us to eat them. By doing so, your body will not only start to function better, but it will begin to HEAL itself!

If you're dealing with ANY health issues: chronic disease, gut issues, fatigue/low energy, brain fog, etc., etc., etc...review your diet. What are you eating?!

Are you inhaling a bunch of fast, cheap, and processed foods?! Or are you eating healthy, organic, and fresh whole foods as Yah provided for our enjoyment and benefit?!

Let us make the healing decision to eat less from a box, and more from the Earth!
