We will pass over armed before YHVH into the land of Canaan, and the possession of our inheritance shall remain with us beyond the Jordan.

The Israelites entered Canaan armed and ready for a fight. Although your victory comes from God, your hand must be on the sword. God never said obedience would be easy. Those who say that weapons and violence are inherently wicked are rejecting God and his Word. Sometimes God's people are commanded to fight and he doesn't expect us to fight with insults and nerf guns. Ultimately, our battle may not be *against* flesh and blood, but sometimes the battle is still carried out *in the midst of* flesh and blood.
