The family should be the foundations of our communities, neighborhoods and cities but in our modern times we have become dependent on the community to support the family. Genesis 4; 17, “ And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.” Communities should support the families who live among them but the family should not be completely dependent on the community to meet the needs of the family.
