Hey everyone!
I just started my sophomore year in High School today, and I am home schooled.
I haven't really been excited for this year. I really miss public school, and the teachers, and my friends, and the way I learned in my classes, and the fun I had in High School before I became home schooled.
Could I ask you guys to pray for me, that I may be able to go through home schooling with a happy heart and a good mood? Because this is definitely going to be more difficult for me than I anticipated.

Aria, are you connected with any other homeschooled teens yet? My son is 14 and has almost always been homeschooled. He's been in public school twice (less than 3 weeks total) and private school twice (all of K4 and 1 month of 3rd grade) and prefers homeschool BY FAR. It's definitely harder to connect with other people his age (especially where we live now) but, the education is far superior, offers more autonomy and free time, as well as being able to pursue his own interests more. I know he'd be happy to chat with you, if you want.
Also, if you're on Facebook, look for homeschool groups in your area. You can also try Meetup.com and searching google and other search engines for groups in your area.
