It took me a long time to realize that there is a difference between Hebrew Roots and Messianic Judaism. I had to leave a Messianic Jewish congregation because later on, I found out that they teach that things like Sabbath, Holy Days, dietary laws, etc., are compulsory for Jews but optional for non-Jews. This is incorrect. The Scriptures teach that there is only one law (or better worded as one Torah) for both Jew and non-Jew.
