Things God's Law doesn't allow:
-Accusations without evidence.
-Witch hunts. No snooping without good cause.
-Execution if there is reasonable doubt.
-Conviction of a crime without two or more witnesses.
-Secret or remote trials.
-Anonymous witnesses.
-Professional executioners.
According to Torah, trials must be in the same locale as the crime. The accused is tried and executed by local people, his peers. The accused is presumed innocent until found guilty and the witnesses and accuser must be the first to execute judgment.
The American system of justice has never been perfect, but it used to be somewhat based on #godslaw. Not so much anymore.
