I'm looking for OPINIONS, as I do not feel there is a clear-cut right answer for this and really want to avoid people hashing out what can be a delicate topic.
15+ years ago, I had four tattoos done... 2 are kind of 'eh' at this point, 2 are still awesome and hold deep meaning. Regardless of how I feel about the design and quality now, I have come to understand (for me, not as a general law) that I should not have gotten them and they are dishonoring to Yah.
I've been thinking a lot about having them removed so I was researching that a bit tonight. All three processes (surgical, dermabrasion and laser) sound absolutely horrifying, painful, practically guaranteed to scar, expensive and unlikely to entirely remove them.
IN YOUR OPINION- do you think it's necessary to remove a tattoo after repentance or merely to abstain from getting more in the future? Bonus points if you have scripture to help guide me in this. ;)

also consider that many of us have scars from less than stellar decisions that we've made. we can not undo them. and even Y'SHUA has the scars from the scurgeing and crucifixion according to Revelation.

once HE washes us, we are clean needed only "touch up" now and again. i would never waste the money to have them removed. pain is generally not a factor that i consider as i am incredibly ridiculously pain tolerant.
