Genesis 1:2 is the first time we encounter the Holy Spirit in Scripture. (In fact, vs 1-3 contain Father, Son, and Spirit.)

Here's an oddball question: Is Holy Ghost a bad translation of the Hebrew and Greek terms for Holy Spirit?

Honestly, it's not great for today's English, but it wasn't wrong for the time when it was first used.
