We need to sanctify YeHoVaH Elohim in our hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks us a reason for the hope that is in us, with meekness and fear. - 1 Peter 3:15 So, I welcome @everyone to practice defending your faith by writing your own #?-statement-of-faith and contributing to this project by sharing scriptures that come to mind as you pray for wisdom. You can check out the Scriptural References we have collected so far by scrolling to the top of this channel. Or, you can click the ? in the top right to show Pinned Messages, which includes the Scriptural References. One advantage we have is ... we do not identify as Catholics, Christians or Jews. Therefore, dictates by their leaders cannot be used against us. We identify as #?israel ... either Native-born or Grafted-in (Romans 11) Messianic (Nazarene, Netzarim) Torah observant, Spirit filled believers and followers of Yeshua the Messiah. We have heard YeHoVaH's call to Teshuvah (repent and return) and Shema (hear and obey) His Torah. We are praising The Name of our Heavenly Father יְהֹוָה as we keep His 7th day Sabbath and celebrate His Feasts and Holy Convocations in Leviticus 23 (according to the Biblical Hebrew Calendar). We obey His Statutes, His Commandments, His Judgments and His Testimonies (including His food laws in Leviticus 11) as It Is Written in the Torah by Moses. And we struggle to come out of Babylon (Revelation 18:1-8) while earnestly searching for TRUTH and contending for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. (Jude 1:3) In our Search For TRUTH, we need to keep Asking, Seeking, Knocking (Matthew 7:7-8) as we exercise our senses to discern between good and evil (Hebrews 5:12-14, Ezekiel 44:23) in order to Receive, Find and Open the door to TRUTH. We also need to seek and search out all that is done under heaven (Ecclesiastes 1:13) and study to show ourselves approved, while rightly dividing the Word of Truth (2 Timothy 2:15) because all Scripture is given by inspiration of YeHoVaH, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction and for instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16-17). And finally, we need to test all things (1 Thessalonians 5:21-22) as we examine ourselves, and work out our own salvation with fear and trembling (Lamentations 3:39-41, 2 Corinthians 13:5, Philippians 2:12-13).
