I give a freewill offering of 10% Net after taxes, so whatever hits my account. It isn't Gross nor Net; strictly speaking.

It is a freewill offerings as I can't keep the entire Law around tithing as it works out to be more like 3 lots of 10% over 3 years or something like that if I remember correctly. Some you do eat during the feasts and others you give for the care of the widows and orphans, etc.

According to some surveys I've looked up, only around 5-10 percent of Christian believers tithe on a regular basis. So anyone who tithes on a regular basis, gross or net, is doing more than most believers are.

The total amount that Yahuah blessed you with before the government takes back what is Caesar's. what's 10% when you constantly have everything you need. If you make about 1800 month then you give $180. I live in a place where Yahuah is forgotten for Ba'al Gad/Lord God. If you are buying non-essential medicine, or anything entertainment, luxury foods/drinks, over helping those in need then I believe you have your tithing priorities backwards. Spending your tithe on your own selfish desires over another's' needs; to me is not a tithe, when Scripture talks about not having an assembly to tithe to so you spend it on your hearts' desire. Your heart should be for Yahuah so therefore your actions would show it by your loving-kindness. Praise Yahuah! HalleluYah!

I set aside a tithe each month. I round the 10% up to easy denominations, for simplicity, and to give a litte more than i must. At the end of the third (not counting sabatical year) year, i give to food pantries or other low income benefactors. During covid, we took some of the tithe and made cloth masks for the nursing home residents. We saw it as a great opportunity to help the poor. We are considered poor by american standards, but there is always someone worse off than you are that you can help. At the end of this 3 year cycle, wed like to donate to the water project so at least one village can have safe water.

I give 10% gross of my personal income. From that amount, an exact dollar amount goes to various ministries at the start of each month. All the remainder goes to the Temple Institute. My business does the same thing but net, not gross. It use to give gross but Ya showed me that when it comes to my businesses tithe that gross is not the correct way.

I give 10% net to Triumph In Truth Ministries because I benefit from their home worship videos. Sometimes I will meet with friends on Shabbat in their homes, but it is not on a regular basis and it is not an assembly. When a local congregation becomes available, I will tithe to them.
