TTN Shop - Get ready to test!
The new TTN Shop is nearing completion this week. It is my version of a mix of Amazon and Etsy.
Only TTN members can sell on the Shop to the general public. This will replace the Market function as it has more features for sales management, payment integration, shipping, tracking, etc.
If you are interested to help test the platform over the next week then please let me know below.

Thanks for offering to assist with testing the new TTN Shop. It is near completion with a few minor bugs still being fixed. You are however free to create and account whenever you are ready.
The Product data that you create will not be automatically deleted after the test, so you can use this opportunity to test real products. I will however be deleting any transactional data before we go live.
On the checkout page are instructions on how to use the Test Stripe card to "pay" for your order, so you can test it end to end.
I will be recording some instructional videos tomorrow and Sunday.
In the top right hand part of the page next to your profile avatar is a small button that looks like a book. That is how you can access the knowledge base which has some information already and which I will be adding the videos to.
The one most pronounced but that you may notice is that VAT is calculated on shipping at checkout even when the product is not taxable.
I am hoping to have all the fixes in place next week so that we can do a soft launch the week after, so any feedback on bugs or possible improvements by the end of next Friday would be highly appreciated.

Having to check the box is one of the bugs that I want to address so that it isn't necessary to do that when we go live.
Do let me know if I need to clarify a bit more regarding shipping then I will add it into the production video.

These policies are unique to your shop, so you can customize it as much as you want. The templates are just there so that you have something to work with.

I have integration the Shop with Tube now as well. It is important to use the same email addres on Shop for your Vendor as you use on Social so that the two automatically integrate.
When you go edit a product then you will see a tab for Promote. In there are two checkboxes, one to promote the product on Social and one to promote it on Tube.
All the products that you mark to promote on Social will be shown on your Products tab in your Social profile.
4 random products that you mark to be promoted on Tube will be shown under your Tube videos. If you want 4 specific items to show all the time then only mark the 4 that you want to show on Tube.
