Rev 18:4+5 came to mind this morning. It says:

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, “Come out of her, my people, so that you will not be a partner in her sins and receive her plagues; for her sins (crimes, transgressions) have piled up as high as heaven, and God has remembered her wickedness and crimes [for judgment]".

I have two questions on that:
1. What does it mean to come out of her? Is it a physical move, a spiritual break, a break of dependence, etc.?
2. When should we come out? Is it only at that given time of the troubles or should we start breaking our dependencies earlier?

On The Prepared Homestead yt channel and app, people are weaning themselves from mainstream society. Some, because they believe they need to physically and spiritually leave Babylon. Others, because they see the global economy crashing and want to be able to survive the chaos. Many see civil unrest, and ultimately civil war, coming to the US. Others see an invasion of US. Whether you are secular or religious, if you feel the calling to get out of the cities and off Roman currency, homesteading is the best answer for most. I personally believe Babylon is NYC because she burns in one hour and the seafarers mourn her. It is the dominant trade center of world markets. Virtually anything that can be bought is traded in NYC.

Come out of churches that practice harlotry and doctrine of men and other gods we are forbidden to learn their ways... there are
a bunch of verses that support this. Many churches are guilty of this and few will find the way.

I agree with a lot of the points made here and I'm glad to hear a little more of and stories. I think that coming out of Babylon involves your entire life. I think coming out of idolatry and man's traditions are things that we come out of immediately. I think some of the other stuff happens in Yah's timing for some examples; moving away from the city, letting go of our attachements to money and things, learning to homestead to make sure our food is clean... the last year Yah has had my family traveling and each stop has been very well timed by Yah, he even brought us back to Washington DC (an awful city that we had left) just to take in a young girl we used to care for via foster care, now she is with us as a family member and we head back away from the city in two weeks. Yah is amazing!
In the end I do believe the greater exodus will be a full completion of coming out of Babylon
