Small Straws by Marsha Burns
Last evening I looked out our west window to behold a stunningly beautiful sunset that lit up the bottom of the clouds like rows of glowing coals. I hurried to get my iPad to take a picture and in those few moments the colors had already begun to fade. And, I believe this was a sign that when a golden opportunity arises, we must not take it for granted or tarry. Get it while the getting is good. Ecclesiastes 9:11 I returned and saw under the sun that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all.
