Need help. How does someone with chronic illness, for example, Lupus/MS observe Sukkot? It's extremely. scorching hot and I have almost zero tolerance to heat these day's. I already had a mild stroke and heart issues by forcing myself to be in extreme weather.

We are living in the diaspora, so can't keep the entire Torah the way that we should. We therefore try to keep what we can to the best of our ability and ask Father for forgiveness for that which we can't keep.

My mum couldn't fast on Atonement as she is 74 and on her 2nd round of chemo. She therefore kept it to the best of her ability without fasting.

I can't afford to go to Jerusalem for the 3 feasts...

I know it might sound like a cliche, but Father does see our hearts and if we do whatever we can to the best of our abilities then I can only pray that He will forgive us for what we can't keep.
