A counter argument for Christians eating pork...
My Christian family and friends will argue that the pork "prohibition" was before hygiene was improved with modern abattoirs. We are therefore now allowed to eat pork as it isn't "unclean" any longer.
Reading Isaiah 65 again this morning it just dawned on me that it is a very good reference to use when countering this point of view. The chapter talks about the new heaven and new earth and at the beginning of the chapter about abominations for Father for which He will punish the wicked. In the list of abominations is eating pork.
If eating pork was just a temporary prohibition before abattoirs then I am sure that this would not have been counted as an abomination at this point in time as we are now closer than ever to seeing the new heavens and earth. And yet, Father still counts it as an abomination to Him when talking about the new earth.

Following after one in the center,
Who eat swine’s flesh, detestable things and mice,
Will come to an end together,” says the Lord.
This verse talks of the final judgement and also refers to those who eat "swine’s flesh, detestable things and mice" as being destined for punishment...
I assume that includes seafood, non-clean insects, etc.
