Psalm 2:1—2, “ Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed.” Unfortunately there is not a very good translation for verse 2 in any English Bible. The original Hebrew The word king is not plural it is singular, there is 1 king but several described as rulers of the earth (or on the earth) who conspire against the Creator. One evil head organizing rebellion against the Creator and attempting to manipulate mankind.
