OK, so I haven't personally raised any discussions around the feast dates for 2021, but the video from Zachary Bauer made it clear that I am not the only person who has moved my feast dates on by a month this year.

What are your thoughts?

Our fellowship had questions. Some chose to move the dates a month, we chose to stay and study further, though I firmly believe Abba showed all of us how much we need to dig into the calendar. Long story short, we all were sick for almost all of the Hillel II feast days and now are strongly considering observing in October. Yah's confirmation to us? Not sure, but leaning that way...

The scripture verses brought up were, "oh! why didnt i see that before?" We were alredy doing things a month later, because of the harvests, but this was like- oh! cool

if im not incorrect in what i saw him do before was basing the moon sightings on the conjunction as well and i respectfully disagree with conjunction moon sightings... because you cant sight a conjunction.

the start of the year is not based on grapes, the start of the year is based on barely and the verse about grapes is after and can not be adjusted once witnesses have sighted the barely in the spring. we have to choose barely before grapes and there is no way to know when grapes will come ripe before barely in the spring so there is NO way he could possibly know in the spring how his year to unfold so for him to say he chose this calendar based on grapes is impossible.

This is an excellent topic. In the past I have kept the festivals according to the current Jewish calendar but for 2 years now I am very uncomfortable with it. If you look at the original first calendar if the new moon etc, this year Yom Teruah should be from evening October 07 to evening October 08, Yom Kippur should be October 16 to 17 and Sukkot October 21 to 29. As with many, I am also confused and would like any of your inset on this subject as well PLUS I believe that satan is currently causing confusing among believers -- we need to pray for each other, we need to be in constant pray for the truth. Any discussion on this topic will help a lot of how other believers experience the festival times.

I currently use the Jewish calendar (Hillel II). I use it because many other people in my Torah community use it as well. I know of two families independent of each other, who tried to use a different calendar and they ended up celebrating the feast days alone. It is not a perfect calendar, but it will have to do until Yeshua returns.

Also, I live in Canada and October tends to be a cold month for camping for Sukkot. So I prefer September for that.

Ours in October as well. We just had Teruah yesterday. It wasn't a moving of days though, it is how the calendar laid it out.

His reasoning is good but I can't see leaving the calculated calendar until there's another Sanhedrin. I know this is likely to not be popular, but the new moon is sounded using the silver trumpets that only the Kohen Gadol has the authority to blow. It's a matter of authority and unity for me.

It's very interesting that there were multiple calendars in play in the first century, when the temple was up. I wonder how the kohen dealt with it because the Pharisees and the Sadducees kept different dates for the wave sheaf. It is entirely possible our movement is looking for a level of precision with the calendar that was never intended.

Rhy, I went with Joseph Dumond's barley sighting this year, so I was ahead of most people by a month. Were we right or not? Only the Father knows. I believe we were, but I believe we are all just trying to do our best. I'm still learning!

I think that watching the crops maturation really sets our hearts to praise Yah for HIS provision. I mean He is awesome all over many points but watching the agriculture is awesome on so many levels! I am glad that we celebrated sukkot in September personally because it’s stinking Cold now! I wouldn’t survive camping with little ones right now. Haha. We will all now when prophesy is being fulfilled and thank goodness for the book of Revelation!
