"The Hebrew word "Shaddai" is usually translated "Almighty" in English and may have its roots in the ancient Akkadian word for "mountain". The image of a mountain is strong and immovable. Even so, the Bible says, "the mountains melt like wax at the presence of the LORD." (Ps 97:5)"

According to Psalm 91, whoever dwells in the shelter of the Almighty God will rest in the protection of His shadow. Our Heavenly Father is all-together mighty. Everything else in creation bows to Him, no contest. It's in HIM that we place all our trust. "

The word that is translated to almighty in hebrew is שדי shaddee. Sounds close to shaddai. Shabbat shalom everyone
