Genesis 35:4
The earrings in this verse were objects of religious veneration, like amulets. Rings in Scripture often represent relationships and/or identification. But why did Jacob bury them under the oak tree? IDK. Oaks in Scripture often represent persons of power and stability, but I don't know if that's related.
