So last month I managed to whitelist ads on this site. Does anyone know if it contributes to ttn by just refreshing the page and having ads appear? Or must I click on them to generate revenue for the site?

Thanks for trying to help.

Unfortunately, refreshing a page does not help as the ads don't pay when viewed so the ads need to be clicked on in a natural process of browsing the page. Google has some very complicated algorithms to determine whether a click is fraudulent (repetitive clicks by the same person, unnaturally high click rates by a single person, etc.)

I am currently contemplating whether the current 10p or $0.12 per week of income it is generating is worth the screen real estate.
