From my own life, our children are 16 and 19. My son works and my daughter is homeschooling herself. I worked all my life providing for my family while Ashlyn raised our children.
Last year we decided that I would focus on TTN to build the community and that she would go back to work full-time to support us financially.
I cook most dinners now and do the laundry. I still manage our finances eventhough I do not earn anything. We both fulfill our relevant roles as parents towards our children.
So, if I said that my wife is only meant to cook and clean then we are missing the mark, but if I look at her role as supporting me as her husband and caring for our children then she is 100% still fulfilling her role as mum and loving wife.
