You've hopefully seen my "Falsely Accused: Paul" comic. This comic is taking what most people are falsely accusing him of today, and applying it to his visit to James in Acts.

In this account, there are rumors going around of Paul that he is teaching people to not do the Law of Moses, even to not circumcise their children. What does James say? He says he knows it is not true and for Paul to go along with some men to do the Nazarite vow to show he does indeed follow the Law still so everyone can see that these rumors aren't true.

We can't read the Bible in a bubble. We can't go and read Paul's letters and say "see, here he is teaching against the Law", when we have accounts like this one that the very topic of Paul teaching against the Law is found to be false.

Because if he was indeed teaching against the Law, I do believe this comic is how it would have played out. It might have even had some more serious consequences like those at the start of Acts 5. Then we would not even have his letters in our Bibles.
