Like the weekly Sabbath, the first set of tablets was written by the finger of God for the benefit of man. Keeping God's Law can be difficult at times, but it's a relatively easy yoke that Yeshua showed us how to bear. It is definitely NOT what Peter meant by a "yoke that neither we nor our forefathers were able to bear". If we refuse to live by God's Law of life, we will live under another, much harsher, law.
