Spent the last 4 days surviving in the mountains. It snowed like 4 feet over 3 days and we had to shovel a path into the forest to cut trees for firewood. It took us 8 hours to get to the cabin and we arrived when it was pitch black out. The scariest part was walking across the bridges in the dark with a head torch. Almost fell in a few times. We were soaked and had to leave a lot of supplies back at the beginning in order to have the strength to make it to the cabin. Took 5 hours to get down the mountain. We blazed the whole trail going both ways and then set up a tarp tent wth us being the walls and we lit a small fire in the snow with a fire stick we cut pieces off of. Yahuah blessed us on every turn. It was all a struggle, but it was all worth it. If there is no struggle to your efforts then the reward feels stale. HalleluYah!
