Israelite Wilderness Experience Sukkot 2024

In Far West Texas south of Alpine, TX

We will be hosting Sukkot this year. Lots of details to come. We are looking for those with training and gifts in survival skills and old homestead ways to teach in addition to our Torah portions. This will include a few trips to Big Bend National Park. A easy hike (wheelchair accessible) to view The Window and a more advanced hike of the "Lost Mine Trail" where at the top you can see for miles. Garvin and I hiked this in 2015 where I was far heavier than I am now. We will be blowing the Shofars and having prayer time at the very top. These trips includes a picnic for both groups. These will be on two different days. For more information on Big Bend National Park got to https://www.nps.gov/bibe/index.htm
