Fools mock at the guilt offering, but the upright enjoy acceptance.
Proverbs 14:9

ESV is correct to translate asham as "guilt offering". That's the clear meaning every other time it is used except possibly in Genesis 26:10. Mockery of blood sacrifice is routine, even among Christians who claim to follow the Bible. I have to wonder at any wisdom that comes from such teachers.

Don't underestimate the peace that comes from acceptance into the presence of God.
