Shabbat Shalom Everyone!

I just wanted to give everyone an update on what's been going on with me. It's been awhile since I've been on the site. Early this month my father passed away from a heart attack. It was sudden and unexpected and I rushed up to Alaska to be with my Mom and siblings.

On March 14th we laid my father to rest. We had the comfort of his brother and sisters, and my moms brother and sisters as well as many aircraft mechanics who worked with dad on the airport.

It was rather surreal to be honest, I never thought that I would be helping to organize a funeral. But throughout it all was a peace that was difficult to explain.

I’m going to miss dad a lot. And it pains me to think of mom and my two little siblings getting along with him. But we have not gone into despair. We have been resting in the love of our God. I honestly can’t imagine what people must go through who don’t have the hope of resurrection.
