Ecclesiastes 3:7, “A time to tear apart and a time to sew together;
A time to be silent and a time to speak.” Have believers remained silent in the face of evil? In my opinion, yes. How else would sin and evil be allowed to become so prevalent in the world? In the 1867 inaugural address John Stuart Mill said, “Bad men need nothing more to compass their ends, than that good men should look on and do nothing.” We should be wise when facing evil, but we should face it boldly and without fear as we follow the Creator’s instructions for how to control it.
