Is using the produce of an unclean animal permitted?

Reading Gen. 32:15 this morning which talks about Jacob sending Esau thirty milk camels with their colts made me wonder about this again as I didn't find an answer previously in my own searches.

What are your thoughts on this?

Rabbinical tradition says no, but then john wore camel wool, so perhaps?

Probably not for human consumption, but to help other young animals whose own mothers can't produce milk. However, according to Aristotle and Pliny this was the 'sweetest' milk in the area. Laslty it could indicate camels with calf (still pregnant).
