I never before even had a thought that the vision of Nebuchadnezzar might be about that region specifically, which makes total sense. Why would Father talk about England when He is dealing with a king on the other side of the world. This then thrown the Roman kingdom out and makes much more sense.
What it did make me wonder about after is how/where does the Millennial reign fit into the statue of Nebuchadnezzar timeline? I know it isn't part of this teaching, but it did make me wonder...
The different names that get interchangeably used for the Beast was also an eye-opener for me. It is just one of those things which I grew up with in the church that I didn't seriously re-investigate that titbit. Thanks. More for me to look at. 😉
I have seen others also mention that the "666 mark" in Revelation which is written as χξς in Greek is similar to "in the name of Allah" in Arabic. I just can't find much in modern writings where the two align, but that is just my limited research. I think the biggest thing is that John says that it is a number of a man which totally confuses me then.
As you were talking about the Ottoman empire it made me wonder whether it is the Ottoman empire that is the kingdom or the Islamic rule during the Ottoman empire that is the kingdom? That would then mean that the Ottoman empire isn't the one to look out for, but the Islamic nations themselves as they are also waiting for their Messiah, which in effect could be our anti-Messiah.
What this does align with is my personal view that the Beast won't have control over all the physical world, but only a quarter. If you look a the actual 100% controlled countries then it is about 1/4 of the world. That would then mean that the Islamic states are the ones which will then suffer the most and not the version that books like "Left Behind" has popularized over the past 3 decades and burnt into the world's psyche (believers and non-believers alike).
Could you please provide the links to the other videos in the series as I did look for it on your channel, but couldn't find it?
