God doesn't care how meaningful those pagan rituals, prayers, holidays, and symbols are to you. He hates them.
Deuteronomy 12:29-31
Of course, not every tradition or ritual or holiday is pagan, not even all of the ones that aren't found in Scripture. I think it's important to look at them all honestly, setting aside all assumptions and emotional attachments. Don't throw it out just because you don't understand it, but don't keep it either without doing some research and prayer.

For instance, the Rechabites were commended for their faithfulness and obedience to the commands of their ancestor, Jonadab (Jehoadab), in Jeremiah 35. Father used their obedience as an example to rebuke the people of Judah and Jerusalem for not obeying His commands, even though He sent prophets to instruct them.
Jeremiah 35:18-19:
"And Jeremiah said to the house of the Rechabites, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Because you have obeyed the command of Jonadab your father, and kept all his precepts and done according to all that he commanded you, therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not lack a man to stand before Me forever.'"
Father rewards the Rechabites with a promise that Jonadab's descendants would always have someone serving before Him because of their obedience to their man made tradition. This highlights how their commitment to following their ancestor’s instructions was seen as praiseworthy.
