Acknowledging there may be an issue is the first step to resolving a potential problem. There are some people who consider the King James Bible to be the infallible word of God, however if the King James Bible contains evidence of forged manuscripts is it indeed infallible? There is historical evidence that 1 John 5:7 was added as late as the twelfth century, this doesn’t mean we shouldn’t use the KJV, it is up to each generation to verify the content and be careful to preserve as close to the original as possible so we do have the word of our creator and not a word from the created.
