A man’s steps are directed by YHWH. How then can a man understand his own way?
Proverbs 20:24

The first man in this Proverb is geber, a mighty man. The second man is adam, a regular man. In other words, if even a mighty man can't force his own will against God, how can any ordinary man know what the future holds?
