[God has promised that] he will set you in praise and in fame and in honor high above all nations that he has made, and that you shall be a people holy to YHVH your God, as he promised.

God said #israel would fall away and be exiled. He also confirmed Israel WILL obey all His commands. This is what it means to be God's people:
1) You're a unique treasure to Him.
2) You will observe His commandments.
3) He will lift you up above all other nations.
4) You will be a holy people to Him.
