YHVH continuously calls you to closeness with Him. He knows the depth and the breadth of your need for Him. He knows the emptiness of your thoughts when they wander away from Him. He offers rest for your soul as well as refreshment for your mind and body. As you increasingly find fulfilment in Him, worldly pleasures become less important. Knowing Him intimately is like having a wellspring of joy within you. This spring flows freely from His Throne of Grace, so that your joy is independent of circumstances.
